Nicki Minaj has confirmed a date for her rescheduled Manchester concert at Co-Op Live, which was postponed at the eleventh hour over the weekend after she was arrested in Amsterdam.
Earlier today (May 28), Minaj tweeted that next Monday, June 3 is the new date for her Manchester concert, which was originally set to take place on Saturday, May 25.
āOK guys, I was JUST RE-ADVISED that we actually CAN NOT do any other date for the make up #gagcityMANCHESTER date besides JUNE 3rd,ā she wrote on Twitter/X.
āSo JUNE 3rd is the new official date for all ticket holders who originally had tickets to the MAY 25th #Manchester show. I apologize for all the inconvenience this has caused. I really hope you can make the #JUNE3rd show. Itāll be really special. Ticketmaster will contact you to advise officially. #GAGCITYā
āLove you,ā she concluded.

The rapper was due to take her āPink Friday 2ā live show to Manchester’s Co-Op Live as part of her ongoing UK and European tour, but she was arrested earlier that day in Amsterdam, where she says she was held in a jail cell for “5-6 hours”.
Footage that Minaj live-streamed herself showed her being detained by Dutch police for allegedly ācarrying drugsā while travelling between countries. The Dutch National Police Corps confirmed that she had been arrested, but that she had since been released.
While Minajās livestream was accessible by fans, no announcement was made of her absence until 9:30pm that night. Fans had reportedly been waiting in the venue since 7pm.
Minaj posted on social media in the early hours of Sunday morning (May 26), apologising for the current situation and updating her fans. āThank you to everyone who prayed for me today,ā she began. āMay God cover you & all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination.ā
She explained that, by the time she arrived in Manchester, she narrowly missed out on making it to Co-Op Live. āThey knew Iād still find a way to perform even if it came down to my last 90 mins in the building which would have been until 1130pm,ā she wrote. āThe building was willing to go past 11pm. So grateful to them for that.ā
Minaj added that she believed the intervention by authorities was deliberate, and that she will āhave the lawyers & GOD take it from hereā. In a separate tweet, she praised her Manchester fans for being a āclass actā while waiting for a new date.
Minaj’s eleventh-hour show postponement is the latest in a string of unfortunate incidents for Co-Op Live. The Manchester venue, which is the largest indoor arena in the UK, delayed its opening by three weeks due to the technical issues and the building not being ready. This resulted in the postponement or cancellation of several high-profile concert dates forĀ The Black Keys, Olivia Rodrigo and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, among others.
