Sabrina Carpenter seems to have teamed up with a cookie company to mark the release of her new album, however, the deal hasn’t sat well with another fanbase.

The American pop star is currently celebrating the release of her latest album ‘Short N’ Sweet’, which contained the hit singles of the summer including ‘Espresso’, ‘Please Please Please’ and ‘Taste’.

Now, it seems that she has joined forces with a brand called Crumbl Cookies, and will be bringing the hype around the LP to the bakery world by launching a collaborative speciality menu item.

Over the weekend, the company took to X/Twitter to share what looks to be a new partnership with the pop singer.

“Me when my friend says they want a mini n’ sweet treat,” read the caption, and the update shared a photo that recreated Carpenter’s album artwork as a cookie.

While some were excited about the collaboration, members of the Olivia Rodrigo fanbase were a bit more bitter – highlighting how the singer joined forces with Crumbl after launching her ‘GUTS’ world tour.

“Oh, the Olivia Rodrigo influence,” one wrote beneath the latest update, while another added: “She really stole Olivia’s whole rollout.”

“Her and her weirdo team really said copy/paste all of Olivia’s ideas and rollout,” agreed a third user, although many also shared that they don’t think there should be any tension between the two.

“Don’t worry livies we know yall are hungry. There’s enough cookies for everyone,” one joked after seeing some of the aggravated replies, while another shared: “Livies in the replies and quotes are so miserable. It’s just a cookie stop crying. Crumbl cookies do collab with many big artists.”

‘Short N’ Sweet’ was released last week, and was given a glowing four-star review by NME. “As ‘Short n’ Sweet’ arrives, it feels like the 25-year-old singer is at something of a turning point,” wrote Rhian Daly.

“Keep Carpenter’s musical calling cards, justify the hype, and she’ll soon be levelling up to major festival headliner – and this record largely gets the job done.”

Since then, the singer has made headlines after being locked in an ongoing chart battle with Oasis, and for teaming up with Jenna Ortega for the music video to her latest single, ‘Taste’.
