Speaking about their new album, the Pet Shop Boys said recently: âWe wanted this album to be a celebration of the unique and diverse emotions that make us human.
“From the more dance-orientated tracks to the raw poignancy of the introspective ballads, with their beautiful string arrangements, each track tells a story and contributes to the overall narrative of the album.â
Earlier this year, Pet Shop Boys covered David Bowieâs âAll the Young Dudesâ in a performance for BBC Radio 2.
The duo played a session at Maida Vale Studios on Friday (February 23) with the BBC Concert Orchestra for the station, also playing their new single âLonelinessâ and their 1988 classic âLeft to My Own Devicesâ.
