Reading and Leeds 2024 is just around the corner – but for those unable to head to the festival this year, here’s how you can watch it online and at home.

The festival – which is predicted to sell out this weekend – boasts Fred Again..Lana Del ReyLiam GallagherCatfish And The BottlemenBlink-182 and Gerry Cinnamon as its six headliners this year.

Raye, Spiritbox, Fontaines D.C.Reneé RappPendulumDenzel CurryKenny BeatsBeabadoobeeNia ArchivesTwo Door Cinema ClubNeck DeepThe WombatsAshnikko, Rachel ChinouririHak BakerThe Last Dinner Party and more are also expected to play from Wednesday, August 21 to Sunday, August 25.

Sunny intervals are also to be expected from both locations (as of August 19).

If you’ve missed out on tickets this year or can’t make the festival, fear not – here are all the ways you can catch this year’s best bits online or at home.

On iPlayer

BBC iPlayer will air performances from the Main Stage and the “groundbreaking” new stage The Chevron, where The ProdigySonny Fodera and Skrillex are set to headline. Coverage will run across all three days of the festival, and you’ll be able to catch up on key performances and tracks for 30 days after.

There will also be 24/7 Reading and Leeds content on the Music Channel in iPlayer, whilst noteworthy performances from previous years are now available to watch.

iPlayer will also feature a live stream to run each day, where select performances and highlights will be ready to watch from home.

If you’re still hankering for more Reading and Leeds once the festival’s done, you can watch back key moments from August 26, where you can play back-to-back performances on the Music Channel.

On Radio 1 

BBC Radio 1 will also provide on-ground coverage of the festival. Live music, guests, and more fun are to be expected on the channel.

Sian Eleri has also provided a handy guide to the festival available on BBC Sounds, where the DJ and presenter takes you through the massive lineup this year.

On YouTube

For fans watching outside the UK, you’ll be able to stream Reading and Leeds from the BBC Music YouTube channel.

When does Reading and Leeds finish? 

Headliners are expected to finish their sets around 11.15 and 11.35pm this year at Reading. Meanwhile, Leeds headliners will end their performances around 10.45pm and 11pm.

However, headliners performing on smaller stages should conclude their sets roughly between 11.20 and 11.35pm. Once again, those headlining smaller stages at Leeds are due to finish slightly earlier – between 10.50pm and 11pm.
