K-pop singer Bada of girl group S.E.S has voiced her support for the members of NewJeans amid an ongoing feud between their former CEO Min Hee-jin and HYBE, the owner of their label ADOR.

Last month, HYBE announced that ADOR founder Min Hee-jin would be stepping down as CEO of the label following a months-long conflict between the two parties. Earlier this week, the members of ADOR girl group NewJeans took to their fan community app to share their uneasiness over the situation.
Veteran K-pop singer Bada has now spoken out about NewJeans’ situation on social media, sharing that her “heart is really hurting” for the young group. The singer shared a clip of NewJeans’ Hanni singing an original song on her Instagram story alongside a lengthy caption.
“My heart is really hurting. I’m sure the fans of NewJeans are hurting as much as the members,” wrote Bada, per KoreaJoongAngDaily. “Can’t adults be wiser or more tender so that kids who are just starting to realize their dreams don’t get hurt?”
“The lyrics and melody of this song, written by a young singer who has just realized her dream, touches my heart,” she added. “I pray for more wonderful miracles to happen to them.”
According to the news outlet, this is not the first time Bada has shown support to NewJeans. The singer had shared a photo of the group back in April, shortly after the conflict between HYBE and Min was made public.
“Amid the complicated stories of adults, imagine how hard it must have been for these young ones, when just preparing an album is tough enough,” she wrote at the time.
HYBE is now reportedly facing calls to reinstate Min as the CEO of ADOR. According to Yonhap News Agency, which stated that over 1,000 fans have penned an open letter to HYBE over the changes in ADOR’s management, citing concerns over the girl group’s future.
