Sean Bean appeared to get into a physical encounter with a security guard in a pub in Liverpool, grabbing him before being dragged to the ground.
The actor is filming a BBC drama The City Is Ours in the city, and was in the Tom Thumb pub on Friday night (May 31) when the scuffle broke out.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the security guard approached the actor to admonish him for vaping indoors, at which point Bean and the guard grab each other, with the actor eventually being dragged to the ground.

Eyewitnesses say that Bean was eventually dragged all the way outside after he ignored requests from staff of the pub to stop vaping inside the establishment.
“I was really surprised and pleased when I first looked up and saw him sitting there,” the witness said. “When the bouncer went over to him, I thought it was for a photo, but actually he was asking Sean to stop vaping in the bar.”
“Sean kept saying he could do what he wanted. To be honest he was being a right arsehole.”
It is not the first time that Bean has been involved in such a physical altercation in public. In 2011, he was stabbed in a Camden pub after getting into a fight over the model April Summers. According to the Daily Mail, he suffered a cut arm and a bruised face, but refused to go to hospital and went back to the bar and ordered another drink.
The actor is legendary for his characters having been repeatedly killed off on screen over the years, from the likes of The Lord Of The Rings to Game Of Thrones. Last year, his character Douglas Bennett in BBC drama World On Fire became his 25th to die on screen, leading some fans to start a petition to stop filmmakers from repeating the pattern.
Bean has also himself discussed the subject, revealing that he believes that his favourite death scene was Boromir in The Fellowship Of The Ring.
“I thought his death was very heroic and triumphant and poignant,” he said. “It had pathos. And the [frame rate] slowed down and it had great music playing really loud. And it was great to try and fight back – he went on forever.”
He added: “I was very happy with that! Better than a quick death!”
