SLAYER founding member and guitarist Jeff Hanneman died 10 years ago (May 2, 2013) from alcohol-related cirrhosis of the liver. He was only 49 years old.
Hanneman is credited for writing many of SLAYER’s classic songs, including “Angel Of Death” and “South Of Heaven”.
