Consequence of Sound

Dear Diary, please remind me to binge the latest Netflix series, I Am Not Okay With This. Based on the 2017 graphic novel by Charles Forsman (The End of the F***ing World), the show follows Sydney, a young 15-year-old freshman who soon discovers there’s a great power hidden amidst all her teenage angst. “It’s like if John Hughes made a superhero movie,” Netflix has been saying, and boy they’re not wrong.

Because we’re so excited, Consequence of Sound Radio’s Relevant Content is heading to detention, where series host and Editor-in-Chief Michael Roffman is joined by star Sophia Lillis and showrunner Jonathan Entwistle. Across two interviews, they discuss the John Hughes magic, the grounded realism of the teenage angst, and even find time to talk about Midsommar and Hereditary, if you can believe that.

Join ’em today, Wednesday, February 26th, at 3:00 p.m. ET/ 12:00 p.m. PT.

Relevant Content is a weekly series hosted by Editor-in-Chief Michael Roffman, who leads a roundtable of guests to discuss the week’s most topical subject. Never miss an episode by following the series via Consequence of Sound Radio, exclusively on TuneIn.
