Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks has had to postpone her upcoming show in Manchester on July 9, as well as last nightā€™s Glasgow performance, after sustaining a leg injury.

The former Fleetwood Mac singer did confirm that her BST Hyde Park show in London on July 12 is still scheduled to go ahead, but said she would have to move the two preceding gigs as she requires a ā€œminor surgical procedureā€.

In a statement issued to social media, Nicksā€™ team advised all ticket holders for Glasgow and Manchester to ā€œhold on to their ticketsā€ as rescheduled dates would be announced soon.

ā€œDue to a recent leg injury requiring a minor surgical procedure that will need a few days of recovery time, Stevie Nicksā€™ scheduled performances in Glasgow Saturday 6 July and Manchester Tuesday 9 July have been postponed,ā€ the statement read.

ā€œMore information will be available at point of purchase, ticketholders are advised to hold on to their tickets as rescheduled dates will be announced soon. Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone at Hyde Park in London.ā€

Nicks had completed one show in Dublin on her current UK and European tour. After the Hyde Park show, she has remaining dates scheduled for Antwerp on July 16 and Amsterdam on July 19. Find any remaining tickets for the European dates here.

Last month, Nicks also had to cancel a show in Hershey, Pennsylvania due to an ā€œillness in the bandā€.

The full line-up for the singerā€™s BST Hyde Park show was completed in recent weeks, with Brandi Carlile, Anna Calvi and Paris Paloma being joined on the bill by Baby Queen,Ā Nina Nesbitt, Siobhan Winifred, CATTY, Talia Rae, Stevie Bill and Nina Versyp.

During Nicksā€™ visit to Dublin last week, she took in a show on Taylor Swiftā€™s all-conquering ā€˜Erasā€™ tour, appearing visibly emotional during ā€˜Midnightsā€˜ trackĀ ā€˜Youā€™re On Your Own, Kidā€™, and later enjoying a night out with Swift, Travis Kelce and Paramore in the Hacienda Bar.

Swift also dedicated the live debut of ā€˜Clara Bowā€™ to Nicks that night, the first timeĀ ā€˜The Tortured Poets Departmentā€™Ā track had ever been played live.

ā€œIā€™ve never played this song live at all,ā€ she said. ā€œThe reason I want to play this tonight is because a friend of mine is here who is watching the show is one of the reasons why I or any other female artists get to do what I get to do.

ā€œSheā€™s paved the way for usā€¦ sheā€™s a hero of mine and also someone I could tell any secret to; sheā€™d never tell anybody. Sheā€™s really helped me through so much over the years. Iā€™m talking about Stevie Nicks.ā€
