Taylor Swift and Post Malone split image

Taylor Swift and Post Malone are leading the nominations for the MTV VMAs this year with 19 nominations between them.

Swift is out in front with 10, while Malone only has one fewer, with nine – and many of their nominations are for β€˜Fortnight’, Swift’s song which features Malone. Among the other artists to have multiple nominations are Sabrina Carpenter, Eminem, and Ariana Grande, who all have six each.

Both Swift and Eminem are up for the most prestigious award of the night, Video of the Year. Four-time winner Swift is the current award holder, for β€˜Anti-Hero’, while Eminem has received a record seven nominations for the award over the years. Also up for the award are Grande, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat and SZA.

Artist of the Year, meanwhile, is between Swift, Eminem, Grande, SZA, Carpenter and Bad Bunny, while Song of the Year is between Swift, Carpenter, BeyoncΓ©, Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Teddy Swims.

Swims, real name Jaten Collin Dimsdale, is up for four awards altogether, including Best New Artist, in which he’ll be competing against Benson Boone, Chappell Roan, Gracie Abrams, Shaboozey and Tyla.

Olivia Rodrigo and Lisa, of K-pop group BLACKPINK, received four nominations like Swims, while Boone, Dua Lipa, Anitta, Tyla, Bleachers and GloRilla are all on three. The likes of Cardi B & Shakira and Rauw Alejandro join Anitta and Bad Bunny in the Best Latin category, while Megan Thee Stallion and Travis Scott are among the Best Hip-Hop nominees.

Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Green Day and Lenny Kravitz are all nominated for Best Rock, while Hozier and Linkin Park are in Best Alternative.

The MTV VMAs will be awarded on September 10, with the awards show beginning at 8pm Eastern Time.

You can vote on MTV’s website up to 10 times a day in each category – doubled to 20 today – apart from in six categories that aren’t open to the public. Check out the full list of nominees there, as well as below.
