Completing Stardew Valley is no easy feat. You have to craft dozens of recipes, catch boatloads of fish, and sell a wide variety of crops. Well, there’s a setting in the game that you can turn on to make tracking your progress much, much easier.

Discovered by Reddit user MissKathryn961, it turns out you can simply go into the game’s settings and switch on the advanced crafting option. This then reveals how many of each item you’ve crafted, making it very easy to keep track of all the various dishes and objects you need to create to get the true 100 per cent completion statue.

What’s more, this option also shows you how many crafting materials you have for each object, meaning you don’t need to waste time scouring chests. And, if you don’t have enough, you can grab some when you’re in town rather than not realising until you get back to your farm.

Since update 1.6 launched earlier this year, Stardew Valley has become a lot easier, in a good way. The Meadowlands farm starts players off with a coop and two chickens, an upgrade that normally takes a couple of in-game seasons at least to get up and running. There’s also the ability to drink mayonnaise, which doesn’t really help anyone, but it’s there.

Some modders are currently trying to bring Baldur’s Gate 3 to Stardew Valley. They aim to add characters from the game of the year award-winning RPG to the cosy indie life simulator. This mod will also add a new map, but the creator reminded people “we are just a small team of amateurs, so speed is limited.”

In other news, a potential leak has revealed plot details for the upcoming Wonder Woman game.
