The tweet also reveals that the game will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia on October 29. Players who purchase the current-gen versions of the game will also be able to upgrade the game to next-gen at no additional cost. Pre-orders are available now.
Additionally, players on Xbox will be able to port their in-game progress on Xbox One to the Series X or S via Microsoft’s Smart Delivery function. Meanwhile, a release date for the PS5 version of the game will be revealed at a later date, once the console’s launch window is announced.
Ubisoft announced a number of accessibility options for the game in August, with all control schemes being made fully customisable, along with the aim-assist and aim-magnetism tools. The company stated that “giving players more ways to approach a game differently goes a long way towards keeping them invested”.
In other Ubisoft news, it has also been confirmed that the release date for the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will now arrive a week earlier than scheduled, making it an Xbox Series X and S launch title.
