Stefflon Don has dropped the video for her brand new single ‘Move’ — check out the song and the clip below.
The track marks her first new music release of 2020, with the artist saying in a press release that she “wanted to come back with something hype, feisty and rooted”.
“‘Move’ is inspired by the old me, the Steff that the world was first introduced to,” she added about her latest release.
Produced by Troyton and recorded in Los Angeles, ‘Move’ is accompanied today (September 10) by the release of a video (directed by Remi Laudat) for the song that you can watch below.
Last night (September 9) saw Stefflon Don win the award for Female Artist of the Year at the Rated Awards 2020.
Back in July, Stefflon Don was among the performers at the first ever virtual Wireless Festival, Wireless Connect. The online event was held in place of the cancelled festival, which was axed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In review of Stefflon Don’s performance at Wireless Connect, NME wrote: “Stefflon Don‘s first return to the stage since the coronavirus outbreak sees her warning us that she might be ‘out of practice’. Laughing it off, though, she performs her menacing ’16 Shots’ after giving the disclaimer that she’d still go to war for her mother.
“Donning white tracksuit bottoms, a “Don” necklace, blue plaits and a ripped blue t-shirt with frills to match, the Birmingham-born talent looks every bit the star as she debuts ‘Miss Me’, a new song that’s set to feature on a project later this year.”
