Emily In Paris has returned for the first half of its fourth season on Netflix, but when can fans expect to see the rest of the episodes? Read on for all the info.
The rom-com drama series stars Lily Collins as marketing executive Emily Cooper, who moves to Paris to provide an American perspective for a French marketing firm.
The first three seasons premiered on the streaming service from 2020 to 2022, while the trailer for the new season dropped last month – watch it below.
A synopsis of the new series reads: “After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed.
“At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty. Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of.”
In a three-star review of the third season, NME praised the show’s costume design: “Patricia Field, the brilliant costume designer who made Sex and the City, the most fashion-forward show of its era, continues to ace the assignment here by dressing these characters in fabulously impractical outfits.”
When is the rest of Emily In Paris season four coming out?
Attentive fans of the show will already be aware that the first five episodes of the new season arrived on Netflix on August 15.
Like the previous three seasons, there will be a total of 10 episodes in the new run, with the second half being withheld for a number of weeks.
As with some other recent Netflix shows, including Bridgerton, the decision was made to split the highly anticipated content over two separate monthly windows, presumably in the hope of driving up subscriptions.
Once Emily In Paris fans have devoured the first five episodes, they may have up to a four week wait, as episodes six to ten will drop on the streamer on September 12.
