three train engines shown head on

Xbox Game Pass will be welcoming another new day one release on its subscription service whenĀ Train Sim World 5Ā arrives onto Xbox Series X|S next month.

There are already four big games confirmed for September on Game Pass, butĀ Train World Sim 5, which has been going since 2017, will come as a free upgrade for existing owners of Train Sim World 4, for the first 30 days of its release on September 17.

For those that don’t own the previous game, Train Sim World 5 will come atĀ no extra cost if you’re already subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. The game will feature three playable routes: West Coast Main Line between London Euston and Milton Keynes, Frankfurtā€“Fulda Kinzigtalbahn line, and Los Angelesā€“San Bernardino.

Otherwise GematsuĀ reports that the standard version will cost Ā£39.99, the deluxe version will be Ā£59.99, and the special edition will be Ā£104.99. The deluxe and special editions grant owners a five day early-access period so they can play before it comes to Game Pass.

New toĀ Train Sim World 5Ā is the Conductor mode. This allows players to step into the shoes of a train guard or conductor and check tickets, operate doors, and make sure the service within the carriages is running smoothly.

Also coming to Game Pass in September are Star Trucker, a simulation game where you drive a truck through the cosmos,Ā Frostpunk 2,Ā Age of Mythology: Retold, and Ara: History Untold.Ā Unfortunately, even though the launch is a long way away, it seems unlikelyĀ GTA 6Ā will be coming to Game Pass on day one.

In other news, aĀ Black Myth: WukongĀ mod has added Goku from the DragonballĀ anime into the game.
