On an Instagram Live earlier this week, though, he shared with viewers that heād been staying busy and productive. āIām in the studio,ā he said.

āWeird!ā is Harrisonās second album, following 2018ās ā21st Century Liabilityā and landed him his first UK Number one last month (December 11). His previous chart peak was at Number Six with the 2019 EP āThe Underrated Youthā.
Speaking to NME ahead of the release, the Doncaster musician revealed Amy Winehouse was a āhuge influenceā on the record. āOnce I started to get a little bit bigger a lot more fucking cooks come in the kitchen, and Iād have some meeting where a label executive would say they wanted to ānormalise meā and make a song thatāll just be big for TikTok,ā he explained. āIād have Amy in my ear going, āFuck off, mate ā tell the fucking truthā.ā
In a five-star review of āWeird!ā, NME wrote: āTaking everything thatās brilliant about Yungblud and amplifying it, album two is Harrison at his most extreme.
āItās exactly where he belongs, too. Yungbludās never seemed more inspiring or vital as he proves himself as one of the most important rock stars around. āweird!ā really is wonderful.ā
