The bandās last project was theirĀ āPost Human: Survival Horrorā EP, released back in October 2020.Ā The first of several releases,Ā frontman Oli Sykes told NME last year they were āworking on parts two, three and four simultaneouslyā and that they were hoping to āget songs out as soon as we canā.
The Sheffield rock giants then gave fans a taste of what they can expect from āPost Human 2ā, sharing new single āDiE4uā in September 2021.
Speaking in a new interview, Sykes then shared an update on the record as well as their forthcoming schedule.Ā āWeāre doing lots of gigs hopefully, if the world goes alright,ā he told BANG Showbiz (via Contact Music). āLots of European festivals and weāre going to the States in September. And hopefully a new record.ā
He continued: āWeāve been working on it for about a year now, weāve got lots of music weāre just being quite picky about what we want to release. We must have about 45 songs.ā
Last month, Bring Me The HorizonĀ teamed up with SigridĀ for a brand new track, āBad Lifeā.
The song marks the latest in a strong run of collaborations released by BMTH. Prior to āBad Lifeā, earlier in the month, the band featured on the Masked Wolf single āFalloutā, while March marked another team up with Machine Gun Kelly with the release of āmaybeā.
